Sure can now offer cloud-based hosting services for eGaming companies following the granting of a permit to Sure (Jersey) Limited to “undertake eGambling cloud hosting” by the Alderney Gambling Control Commission (AGCC).

By awarding the permit, the AGCC is acknowledging that Sure’s vCloud system offers a safe, secure and robust environment in which international eGaming companies can host their services.

Sure operates world-class, multi-million pound data centres in both Jersey and Guernsey that meet a range of international quality standards including, ISO 27001 for information security management and the payment industry’s PCI DSS accreditation.

Both Jersey and Guernsey are covered by the permit which should enable Sure to attract more eGaming business to the islands.

Jo Cox, Chief Commercial Officer at Sure said: “Our vCloud services are already used by a range of companies. With the eGaming permit, issued under the auspices of the AGCC, eGaming companies will now also be able to benefit from the highly secure and flexible hosting environment that we offer.

We believe that the combination of the AGCC’s globally renowned regulatory framework with Sure’s expertise in the operation of international communication networks and delivery of world- class cloud services, gives us a strong and compelling product that eGaming companies will find attractive."
