Trust Corporation International has appointed Bahar Mowbray as marketing manager and Mark Bougourd as client accountant.
Mrs Mowbray comes to Trust Corporation from an offshore law firm where she managed the business development strategy and the implementation of client and intermediary programmes.
In her new role she will work with Trust Corporation’s directors to ensure business development plans are delivered effectively in line with the company’s strategic growth aspirations.
Mr Bougourd received his ICAEW ACA qualification in 2010, having trained with a “big four” accountancy practice before joining a local independent accountancy firm.
He joins Trust Corporation from a prominent alternative asset management company where he was responsible for the accounts preparation and reporting for a large portfolio of funds and securities.
At Trust Corporation he will take on the role of client accountant; managing the accounts for a portfolio of trust, fund and company clients.
The new hires are the latest staff additions for the company, which has experienced significant, client-driven growth since it was launched in 2003.
Amit Taylor, group managing director of Trust Corporation International, said: “These appointments are indicative of our continued growth which we believe is due to our independent ownership model and the experience of our professionally-qualified staff.
“We always look to hire senior professionals with exceptional levels of expertise and Bahar’s considerable experience in all aspects of business development will help us to meet the organic growth targets we have set ourselves.
“Mark is an experienced, qualified accountant with an in-depth understanding of fund, trust and company accounting with a background in audit and assurance, which will further strengthen the experience within our existing team.”
