Guernsey based travel firm Wayfarers World Travel has secured a New Distribution Capability deal with British Airways and Iberia, helping to save surcharge fees.
British Airways and Iberia fares will be delivered via a New Distribution Capability (NDC) arrangement, whereby Wayfarers Travel will avoid a surcharge fee of £8 per fare component for all bookings from 1st November onwards.
From its base in St Sampson’s, Wayfarers’ business travel and leisure clients will benefit from the waivered surcharges reinforcing the travel firms strategic growth in the industry. Business has gone from strength to strength for the travel firm which celebrates its 30 year anniversary this year. Its success is credited to its impressive and diverse portfolio of online and offline travel products including the successful launch of its holiday website escapetherock.gg.
“Our relationship with British Airways and Iberia is one of strategic importance that will bring long term benefits to both our business travel and leisure clients” comments Wayfarer’s CEO Simon Goddard.
