Full Description

Our client is seeking an Accounts Preparer to join their Client Accounting team. This full-time role involves assisting the Client Accounting team in meeting its deliverables efficiently and ensuring all client accounts are prepared within a 12-month deadline. The successful candidate will also provide support in bookkeeping tasks, assist junior team members, and contribute to maintaining high standards of client service. This role reports to the Client Accounting Manager and is ideal for someone currently studying towards an ACCA qualification. Click here to read more. Job Duties: Assist with day-to-day bookkeeping issues faced by the Private Client (PC) team. Ensure all asset statements are delivered on time, under the supervision of the Director. Assist junior accounts preparers in clearing review points. Ensure a weekly target of 5-10 accounts files are signed off. Meet all client accounting deadlines and escalate overdue accounts where necessary. Work with PC admins to ensure timely delivery of accounts files. Plan and prioritise workloads to meet deadlines consistently. Train junior members of the Client Accounting team and provide guidance. Take ownership of and manage the Accounts Tracker. Lead by example and motivate junior staff members. Undertake ad-hoc project work as directed by the Client Accounting Director and Funds AM. Job Requirements: Professional approach with strong team-working abilities. Enthusiastic and proactive attitude. Strong IT skills. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Self-motivated and capable of working independently. Studying towards ACCA, ACA, or CA qualification. Minimum of 2 years experience in client accounting. Experience with Navision is an advantage.
