Our client is seeking a full-time Assistant Manager to support the Management team in the administration and oversight of fund structures. This role involves supervising team members, managing investor relations, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and operational standards. Job Duties:
Liaise with lawyers, tax advisers, administrators, and regulatory authorities for ad hoc transactions.
Oversee a variety of client queries, including NDAs, Bid Letters, Engagement Letters, and Comfort Letters.
Review and authorise payments.
Assist with KYC and due diligence requests.
Perform due diligence on new and existing investors and address compliance matters.
Manage execution of documents and signing of checklists/packs.
Handle complex investor queries and oversee query flow.
Supervise, train, and develop team members.
Prepare and review board materials for meetings, with attendance and presentations as required.
Assess and monitor risks, producing controls to mitigate identified risks.
Provide support to the Management team and assist with general administrative matters.
Perform other reasonable duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Professionally qualified in CG (ICSA) or equivalent.
Exposure to real estate or private equity fund administration.
Advanced administration, analytical, and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel at an intermediate level.
Strong interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills, with the ability to engage at all levels.
Strategic thinking and leadership experience, with a focus on relationship management.
High levels of tact, diplomacy, and confidentiality.
Proactive mindset with close attention to detail to ensure consistently high standards of work.
Familiarity with standard business software.
Flexibility to work under time pressures and respond calmly to changing demands.
Ability to manage workload independently and prioritise effectively.
Collaborative and team-oriented approach.
