Our client is seeking a Client Accountant to join their Jersey office. This role focuses on providing outstanding service to clients by maintaining accurate bookkeeping records and preparing financial statements. The Client Accountant will contribute to the delivery of high-quality accounting services while collaborating with internal teams. Click here to read more Job Duties: Process entries in the accounting system to maintain accurate records for a variety of clients. Establish and manage accounting records for new clients and close ledgers for ceased clients. Prepare management accounts, including cash flow forecasts, income and expenditure forecasts, asset statements, budgets, and other reports as required. Produce accurate financial statements for trust and company clients for audit or submission. Collaborate with colleagues to ensure client needs are met efficiently and professionally. Job Requirements: Experience in bookkeeping, financial statement preparation, and review within a trust or relevant financial services environment. Strong knowledge of double-entry bookkeeping and financial statement consolidation. Understanding of the segregation of income and capital in trust accounting. Familiarity with Jersey trust and company law and practice. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. Ability to prioritise workload and manage time effectively in a dynamic environment. Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and effective communication abilities.
