Full Description

Our client is seeking an Examiner to join their Financial Crime Examination Unit. This full-time, permanent role focuses on assessing the systems and controls of supervised businesses to mitigate financial crime risks. You will examine areas including AML (Anti-Money Laundering), CFT (Countering Financing of Terrorism), CPF (Countering Proliferation Financing), targeted financial sanctions, and anti-bribery and corruption measures. Click here to read more Job Duties: Deliver effective onsite examinations, including interviews, file reviews, control assessments, and follow-ups. Provide accurate and concise feedback and reporting to senior business representatives. Execute examination work within agreed timelines. Contribute to the development and enhancement of examination processes. Support organisational projects to improve operational systems and controls. Share knowledge and insights internally and externally to address emerging risks. Collaborate to detect and manage financial crime risks, sanctions, and corruption issues. Job Requirements: Experience in financial services, with a strong understanding of Jerseys AML/CFT/CPF legislation and regulatory standards. Background in risk management, AML, compliance, or internal audit is desirable. Strong interpersonal and communication skills for engaging with diverse stakeholders. Motivation for continuous learning and adaptability to challenges. An understanding of international financial crime risks and typologies is advantageous.
