Our client, a dynamic professional services firm in the Channel Islands, is seeking a full or part-time Internal Tax Manager to join their high-performing Finance team. The position involves providing strategic guidance on tax compliance and risk controls, supporting overseas contracts, and advising on cross-border tax matters. Youll contribute to managing tax compliance within the business while collaborating with UK and Network Tax Leads, external advisors, and the Firms Tax Partner. Click here to read more Job Duties: Act as a subject matter expert on tax risk controls and compliance processes within the business Advise on client and internal contracts involving overseas travel and virtual working, with support from network experts Oversee tax compliance tasks, including Preparing local tax calculations Overseeing tax payments Processing tax returns and submissions Serve as the key contact for UK and Network Tax Leads, external tax advisors, and the Firms Tax Partner Job Requirements: Relevant accounting or tax qualification (CA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CTA, CIA, CISA) or an international equivalent Strong knowledge of tax law in either Jersey or Guernsey Sound accounting knowledge and understanding of tax processes and controls Analytical, project management, and problem-solving skills, with a high level of attention to detail Ability to handle multiple assignments, adapt to changing priorities, and deliver results under pressure Effective communicator capable of building positive relationships at all levels Open-minded, agile, and innovative, with an interest in identifying and implementing technology-enabled improvements What Youll Love:Our client is committed to fostering a culture of inclusion and innovation.
