Our client is seeking a diligent Officer in Credit Risk Management to support the Manager in overseeing credit risk management duties, including administrative tasks and credit risk account management. This full-time role involves ensuring the bank's operations remain compliant with regulatory requirements and contributing to the development and delivery of credit risk training and guidelines. Job Duties: Monitor the credit portfolio, track conditions on approved applications, and use exception reporting to identify breaches, ensuring remedial actions are taken promptly. Provide Management Information to enable the business to effectively manage loan portfolios. Assess Credit Proposals to evaluate financial performance and inform decisions by Delegated Authority holders. Review facility documentation to ensure all conditions are accurately reflected in draft facility letters. Validate that conditions precedents are met before disbursements are made. Serve as Secretary to the business Credit Committee, maintaining accurate and complete records in accordance with the agreed mandate. Monitor and action the Credit Risk email inbox, ensuring timely and effective responses. Job Requirements: Diploma in Risk Management or Business Commerce. 1-2 years of experience in credit risk management, with a strong understanding of banking products, services, systems, policies, and procedures. 3-4 years of experience in credit risk management, with an understanding of the banks products, facilities, and associated risks. In-depth knowledge of legislative requirements and registration processes related to credit risk management. Proficiency in Banking Processes & Procedures. Strong Business Administration skills. Knowledge of Compliance regulations. Familiarity with Product and Services in Consumer Banking. Competency in Product-Related Systems. Ability to identify and manage risks effectively.
