Our client - a medium-sized finance organisation providing a wide range of bespoke professional services to international clients - is seeking a senior trust officer. This role is best suited to someone with 5 to 10 years' experience in fiduciary services, who qualifies as a C category person under JFSC guidelines. STO will be responsible for administration of a portfolio of fairly complex client cases, including bookkeeping entries and the preparation of some financial reports and statements. They will also mentor less senior members of the administration team. A very good understanding of principles of offshore trusts and companies, principles of managing financial assets and broad understanding of tax issues are essential and so is knowledge of compliance issues and regulatory framework.
We can only accept candidates who hold a local residential qualification or have lived in Jersey continuously for the last 5 years.
