Pretty rare motorhome, most were exported to Canada, built on a Mercedes chassis with a chain driven solid, bulletproof engine, 2.4 litre, front wheel drive. We have owned it for the last 7 years and it has never let us down in anyway whatsoever. Don’t expect speed here unless you’re using the gravity engine (hills). Reliable but slow It is after all a normally aspirated non-turbo diesel. Karmann coach work, mostly fibreglass. Four owners from new. complete and full service history comes with this vehicle. The history folders are from new. original German registration paperwork, original English (V5) registration paperwork, original jersey registration (logbook) paperwork. Even comes with original instruction booklets. Reasonable mileage at 140,000, average for this age motorhome. Restoration information:- The motorhome has been extensively restored, there is no rot on the chassis. The body work is mint. The interior is mint, all the systems are mint. There are absolutely no interior water leaks from anywhere. It is bone dry. It has been stored inside and under a cover for the last seven years during my ownership. The interior has been fully updated as have all the electrics etc. This motorhome is ready to go. A huge amount of money has been spent on this vehicle over the years, as can be seen from the service history spanning over its 34 year life. All the usual accessories have been fitted like solar panels, etc. It has a large double bed over cab and a foldout double bed in the cabin yet it remains a reasonable length and can be parked in a normal parking space. The engine is very easily accessible between the passenger and driver seats for servicing. Nothing is cluttered. All it needs is oil and fluid filters changed periodically. Comes with roof box on roof, best place for a roof box I guess, which contains chairs tables etc. Comes with fully functional original awning with wind out handle and supports. I’m putting it up for sale because we just don’t use it anymore. And it seems a shame to have it sitting in storage when somebody else could be enjoying this vehicle, a very reasonable full-time van life machine. Please be aware that this vehicle is kitted out for Europe, it has European Gas Tanks (easily changed) and European electric sockets (also easily changed). Additional information, this camper also has a drop down cinema screen and projector built in that is stowed away on tracks when not in use.
