The ministers responsible for law enforcement and immigration are taking questions at a public event tonight.
The latest change.je event sees Home Affairs Minister Kristina Moore and her assistant minister Deidre Mezbourian on a panel taking questions from voters at St Lawrence Parish Hall from 7.30 pm.
They are joined on the panel by Reform Jersey member Deputy Geoff Southern and JEP photographer Tony Pike.
The monthly events, which are open to all Islanders to attend, are designed to provide an independent platform where the public can put their questions directly to politicians, business leaders and campaigners – and hopefully receive direct answers.
Christian May, founder of change.je, said: “With public opinion of our politicians in noticeable decline, in light of negative perceptions of the Island’s financial future and decisions being made by the States Assembly, it is critical that we allow the public to ask questions directly of our Ministers, representatives and business leaders.
“Once again change.je has invited panel members with views across the political spectrum and I hope that the event will be informative and engaging for all involved.”
