A wandering peacock ruffled some feathers earlier today after he was spotted having a mooch around a St Helier estate.
Costel Buture, a resident of La Garel estate on Hansford Lane, spied the colourful bird wandering around near his house.
He posted on a local Facebook page labelling the peacock "lost", but none of the replies have so far solved the mystery of where the exotic bird came from.

Mr Buture told Express that no one had reached out about the missing bird, adding that he was unaware of anyone in surrounding areas owning a peacock.
"No one got in touch," he explained.
Mr Buture said he was unsure where the peacock went after its brief visit.
Hansford Lane runs around the back of St Andrews park so if you're planning on going for a post-school play with the kids, keep a look out for a large feathered pedestrian...
