The JADC's pantomime this year is Aladdin, running at the Jersey Arts Centre from 5-15 January 2023.

Oddsocks return to Jersey Arts Centre to mark its 40th anniversary with a relaxed, cabaret-style version of Shakespeare’s hilarious, bawdy and mischievous play ‘Twelfth Night’.
This unique, cabaret-style performance will be a party experience hosted by the Duchess Olivia and her hilariously pompous butler Malvolio. Before the evening is out, you will have witnessed the highs and lows of an epic love triangle, the ins and outs of a cross-dressing character disguise and the ups and downs of a ridiculously wrong romance all wrapped up with songs from a Britpop playlist. A great Shakespearean party hosted by the inimitable Oddsocks!

You can view some of the best examples of local architecture at a free exhibition running at the Link Gallery exhibition space at Jersey Museum.
The exhibition will showcase the winners of the 2022 Jersey Design Awards, and runs from 9 until 31 January 2023.
The awards are a celebration of work by local architects, designers and developers. Entries were open to anyone who delivered a project that they believed had made a positive contribution to Jersey’s built environment.
Environment Minister, Jonathan Renouf said: "The Jersey Design Awards are a chance to recognise and celebrate good, innovative architecture and design locally. I am keen to encourage public engagement and debate about high-quality design and what it can contribute to improving our shared environment."
The Jersey Architecture Commission judged the projects in July, with the winners announced in September.
As part of the exhibition, images of each award-winning exhibit will be displayed alongside the design approaches and goals which inspired its development, such as the climate emergency and sustainable construction.
Entries for the next Jersey Design Awards, which are held every two years, will open in April 2024.
On Saturday 7 January, a commemoration of the 242nd Anniversary of The Battle of Jersey and the disbandment of the 'Jersey Company', will take place from St John’s down to the Royal Square and finish at the Town Hall.
The timings for the event will be as follows:
08.15-08.30: The walk, organised by local historian Ian Ronayne, leaves from St Johns's Church.
11:15: Re-group behind the 1781 Jersey Militia, and march from the Town Hall to the Royal Square
11:30: Commemoration of the Battle of Jersey in the Royal Square
12:15: Depart from the Royal Square and march to the Town Hall
There will then be a reception in the Town Hall's Assembly Room hosted by the Constable of St Helier, Simon Crowcroft.
