There's plenty of festive fun happening in Jersey this weekend to kick off the Christmas countdown...

Islanders can enter the world of Willy Wonka without the need of a golden ticket as the Jersey Arts Centre presents its Christmas show, 'Charlie and the Chocolate Factory'.
The theatre has teamed up with ARTcomedia to bring the classic Roald Dahl tale to the stage.
Performances begin tonight and run until Saturday 21 December, with matinee and evening timings available.
A British Sign Language interpreted performance will take place on Friday 20 December, as well as a relaxed performance to suit those with additional requirements on Sunday 15 December.

Islanders can stock up on homemade arts and crafts at St Peter's Christmas tree festival market this Saturday 7 and Sunday 8 December.
Local creatives will be selling their products at St Peter's Parish Hall from 10:00 on both days.
Entry is free and stalls will be open until 16:00 on Saturday and 15:00 on Sunday.
Jersey Premier Brass band is set to transport audiences to a magical winter wonderland this weekend with a concert production of The Snowman.
The brass band will perform the full soundtrack of the classic Christmas film during the afternoon of Saturday 7 December at Haute Vallee school's auditorium.
Shows will commence at 10:30, 13:00 and 15:15. More information can be found here.
Islanders can get in the festive spirit with some classic carolling this Sunday 8 December, while raising money for charity.
The Hospice Friends & Family Carol Service will begin at 15:00 at St Andrew's Church in first tower, accompanied by some young singers from Les Landes school choir.
Refreshments will be served in the hall afterwards to soothe those singing voices.
Islanders can experience some French festivities with the return of the Norman Christmas markets next week.
Stallholders from across the water will be selling their Normandy-made produce – such as wine, cheese and fruit – at the Weighbridge from Monday 9 until Sunday 15 December.
The market will be open from 09:00 until 18:00 every day, apart from Monday 9 December when it will start at 10:00, and Sunday 15 December when it will close at 16:00.
