Various charitable events are set to take place this weekend, allowing islanders to enjoy classical music or Zumba whilst raising money for organisations that offer vital support to the local community.

A glow in the dark fundraising dance session is set to return for its seventh year this Saturday 25 January.
Organised by Soroptimist International Jersey, Zumba Glow will raise money for domestic abuse charity Freeda and Jersey Action Against Rape.
The event will take place at La Rocquier School from 14:00-15:30.
Glow make-up and accessories will be provided on the day for a small donation.

An evening of Scottish culture is set to take place this Saturday 25 January at the L'Horizon Hotel to celebrate the life of renowned poet Robert Burns.
The Scottish Society of Jersey's annual Burns Night supper will feature Ceilidh musicians, a drinks reception and a three-course Scottish meal, before highland dancers close the evening.

Mental health charity Mind is taking over Chambers this Saturday 25 January with a jam-packed live music fundraiser.
Various local bands including 88 Bunk Face and Electric Head will take to the stage from 20:00 for 'Do You Mind?'.
The event is free to attend, but donations will be encouraged.
All funds raised from the evening will go towards mental health support in Jersey.
Music engagement charity Music in Action brings internationally acclaimed violinist Boris Brovtsyn to St Helier Methodist Church this Saturday 25 January.
The musician will join Jersey Chamber Orchestra in an evening of famous classics from 19:00.
Led by Chief Conductor Eamonn Dougan, the orchestra will take the audience through melodies by Mozart, Mendelssohn and Beethoven.

The Lullaby Choir is due to present a concert of original and traditional lullabies this Saturday 25 January.
Originally cancelled due to Storm Darragh in December, the show is the culmination of a 13-week community project with islanders from different cultures.
The project was curated and produced by artists Esther Rose Parkes and Susanne Kudielka with The Moving Arts Collective, and co-commissioned by ArtHouse Jersey.
The performance takes place at 18:00 at St Mark's Church.
