The case of a man charged with three assaults has been sent to the Royal Court.
Charged with two counts of common assault, and one of grave and criminal assault against two individuals, 46-year-old Alexandre Paulo Ribeiro Coelho’s case has been sent to the Royal Court.
Mr Coelho was represented by Advocate Giles Emmanuel at the short hearing in the Magistrate’s Court.
Legal Adviser Lauren Hallam appeared for the Crown.

Relief Magistrate Sarah Fitz, presiding, informed Mr Coelho that his case was being committed to the island’s highest court, explaining that he should receive the date of his next appearance within two weeks.
