Runners are getting ready for a 10k memorial event which has raised more than £80,000 for charity over the past 14 years.
The 15th staging of the Jayson Lee 10k Memorial Run takes place on Saturday 20 August, starting and finishing at the Spartan Athletic Club track at FB Fields.
Mr Lee, a keen runner and footballer who was a serving officer in the States of Jersey Police, collapsed and died while playing football for St John in January 2009.
In addition to an annual football match, the 10k run has been staged annually since August 2009 on the weekend closest to Mr Lee's birthday on 25 August.
As well as runners taking part in the event, for which all finishers receive a medal and t-shirt, spectators are encouraged to attend and cheer on participants before enjoying tea, coffee and cakes at the finish.
Organisers of the event have thanked sponsors Mitchell Building Contractors, Mark Pickford's Cycle Shop, Lab-6 and Cimandis, as well as the St Clement Honorary Police and volunteers for their roles as marshals and ensuring safety for runners and motorists.
Entry fee for the run is £12.50, with all money raised goes to Jersey Hospice Care – registration is open at jerseyhospicecare.com/support-us/events.
