A driver had a lucky escape this weekend, after his car skidded on the wet roads and ended up in a field.
The accident happened just after 14:15 yesterday afternoon, and six fire-fighters with specialist equipment had to make sure no oil or petrol was leaking into the ground. The driver wasn't hurt.
The Fire Service say the car had slid down the road due to the slippery conditions, hit a post and flipped over, only to land back on its wheels and come to rest in a field.
They are warning drivers to take care on the wet roads, and if the car does skid, not to panic, and follow the following steps:
