A local gallery is urging people around the world to pick up needle and thread to help create 75m of bunting to commemorate 75 years since Jersey was liberated.
In total, the Harbour Gallery is looking for around 450 pennants to feature on the bunting, which will be displayed outside the premises around Liberation Day this May.
Everyone around the world is invited to make, create and design their own triangle pennants, which should be based on the meaning of 'liberation' to the individual.
As well as having their artwork strung up outside the gallery, contributors will also see their names and locations featured in a commemorative book created by Art in the Frame Foundation, the charity behind the Harbour Gallery.
Charity chairman and Gallery Director Pat Robson is urging people to spread the word in hope of receive pennants from Jersey residents living all over the world.
Art in the Frame Foundation requests that the pennants be delivered or posted to them at The Harbour Gallery Jersey from 1 March until 4 May.
The pdf below should be printed in A4 as a guide for the size and shape of the pennants and sent to: The Harbour Gallery Jersey, Le Boulevard, St. Aubin, Jersey, JE3 8AB, Channel Islands.
