A local musical education charity is calling for local musicians to sign up to play at a new music festival this summer.
Jersey Sings Across the Bay is a new event hoping to bring together talented musicians to support educational outreach work in Jersey schools.
The festival, which is sponsored by Zedra, will serve as a fundraiser for Jersey Music in Action, a local charity dedicated to supporting music education in schools, and organising live performances for communities which may not otherwise have easy access to music.

The event will feature 10 performance areas spread out from Jardins de la Mer all the way to the Look Out Café at First Tower.
All musicians are invited to apply, no matter their preferred genre or style. All music is welcome – be it jazz, pop, country and western, jive, classical choral or instrumental.
Additionally, any poets, painters, dancers or artists of any kind are also encouraged to register their interest.

James Mews, Chair of Music in Action, said: "We are thrilled to invite musicians and artists to join us for the new Jersey Sings Across the Bay festival.
"This event is a celebration of the incredible musical talent present on the island, while also supporting our mission to bring the power of music to enrich and transform the island.
"We encourage all musicians, whether established or emerging, to participate and be part of this unforgettable experience."
Volunteers are also being asked to come forward and help look after the performers and the audience during the festival.
