Police are hoping to find the owner of a ring that was lost over 50 years ago and lay forgotten in a drawer ever since.
The gold ring – engraved with the initials "G. P" and "V. H" – was found after a Shukokai Karate Club session in the De La Salle school gym in 1971.
The finder of the ring could not locate the owner at the time, and placed the ring in a drawer "for safekeeping". The ring was then forgotten about until now.
Police are hoping that G. P or V. H may come forward to claim their gold ring.
If you think this ring could belong to a family member or a friend, you can get in touch with the States of Jersey Police on hello@jersey.police.je or 612612.
