Wednesday 22 January 2025

A car with three people inside was left in a “precarious” position after mounting a bank on a hill in St Ouen.

Firefighters were called to the incident in Mont Matthieu shortly before 7pm on Tuesday.

In a statement, Jersey Fire and Rescue Service said: “Three people were inside the vehicle, which was in a precarious position. It had mounted the bank on the edge of the road and the occupants, though unharmed, were concerned if they exited the vehicle, that it would roll onto the road.

“Firefighters made the scene safe by anchoring the car to the ground and the the driver and two passengers were able to exit the vehicle safely.”
