An multidisciplinary exhibition exploring themes of equality, strength and resilience is set to take place tonight to celebrate International Women's Day and raise money for a sexual violence charity.
CCA Galleries on Hill Street is hosting the evening of art, dance and poetry which aims to showcase art produced and performed by local women while also raising money for Jersey Action Against Rape (JAAR).
'Pushing Boundaries' will be an evening of art, dance and poetry that marks the closing of Debbie Crane's "exuberant" solo exhibition 'Open Hands'.
It will feature performances from the dance company Ballet d'Jèrri and readings from poets on themes of womanhood, identity, and mental health.
Traci O'Dea said: "I am looking forward to seeing what connections we make when our poetry and Ballet d'Jerri's dance performances interact with Debbie Crane's exuberant art."
Local poet Emilie Epperlein added: "We are thrilled to present an evening that celebrates the strength, resilience, and creativity of all genders.
"Through the expressive art forms of art, dance and poetry, we aim to spark conversations, inspire action, and foster a sense of unity and solidarity among our community."

A spokesperson from JAAR said: "On behalf of Jersey Action Against Rape (JAAR) and the survivors of sexual abuse whom we serve, I extend our deepest gratitude for the generous support through the 'Pushing Boundaries' event.
"The event's dedication to amplifying women's voices and celebrating local creative excellence not only inspires feminist joy but also provides invaluable resources for our cause.
"By choosing to dedicate this event to raising funds for our sexual trauma counselling services, CCA Galleries have demonstrated a profound commitment to supporting survivors on their journey towards healing and empowerment."
The event will be held from 18:00 to 20:00.
It is free to attend with donations going to JAAR.
