Stands and scavenger hunts are set to feature at the 41st Annual Jersey Model Railway Exhibition which is coming to St Peter this Bank Holiday weekend.
From 10:00 to 17:00 on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, islanders can see an “impressive” array of model railway layouts in St Peter’s Youth and Community Centre, organisers said.
Up to 15 different layouts in a number of scales and sizes, from the smallest (Z gauge) to some of the largest (G scale), will be on show.
Jersey Model Railway Club said it would be an "unforgettable journey through the fascinating world of model railways", adding: "Whether you're a dedicated enthusiast (of any age) or a curious newcomer, our exhibition promises a delightful experience for all.
"Marvel at the intricate details, craftsmanship, and passion that go into creating our stunning railway displays."
The event will also host a scavenger hunt, where participants can explore the details of the different layouts and win a sweet treat, and trade stands with a wide selection of model railway supplies, including trains, tracks, scenery, and more, from leading vendors.
Admission on the door costs £5 for adults, £3 for under-16s, and £3 for over-65s.
A family ticket for two adults and two children costs £12, while under-5s are free.
The venue is fully accessible for wheelchair users and includes accessible restroom facilities.
