Police are appealing for information after a teenager had to be airlifted to Southampton Hospital in “critical” condition following a collision with Jersey Post van.
The collision took place around 16:30 on Thursday (25 May) on La Rue du Hucquet on the junction of Rue de la Vignette in St. Martin, Police said.
The Year 9 student, who was wearing sports clothing at the time of the collision, was taken to hospital and later airlifted to Southampton Hospital, where he remains in intensive care.
Officers described his condition as "stable but critical".
Police are now appealing to anyone who saw what happened or who may have dashcam footage or CCTV that captures the van or the pedestrian in the surrounding areas.
