The search is on for Jersey's 2016 community heroes.
Whether it's a grandparent, a teacher, a neighbour or a community champion or a helpful member of staff from a local shop, the Pride of Jersey Awards is celebrating all that's good about Island life.
The Pride of Jersey Awards were first run by the JEP last year to coincide with the paper's 125th anniversary.
The first event saw 400 nominations and 10,000 votes cast, with winners receiving a prize worth £1,000 and being taken on a special flight around the Island in a private jet.
JEP Deputy Editor Carl Walker said that this year's "impressive" location for the award ceremony would be revealed soon.
He said: "When we set out on this journey, we always wanted to make sure that the awards were different to any others out there. We wanted something unique and special and Aviation Beauport certainly delivered that for us last year for our first awards. This year, we have something very special planned and have picked a location that many Islanders will have never visited. We also have an extra treat for the winners, but all will be revealed soon."
The categories are: Ambassador of the Year, Volunteer/Fundraiser of the Year, Grandparent(s) of the Year, Community Champion(s) of the Year, Environmentalist(s) of the Year, Jersey Angel of the Year, Teacher of the Year, Unsung Sporting Hero of the Year, Customer Service Employee of the Year, Child of the Year, Neighbour of the Year, and Inspirational Leader of the Year.
