A man was allegedly hit by a car during an "altercation" at Les Landes race course on Friday afternoon.
The States police have said the driver of a silver VW golf and a man who was standing near the car park got into an argument at around 17:15 on Friday 12 July.
Appealing for any witnesses, they said "voices were raised" before the was driven at the man, allegedly hitting him.
The car then sped off.
The two men did not know each other and the pedestrian was not injured by the incident, the States police said.
