Islanders are today saying a final goodbye to island icon, 'Beautiful Jersey' singer, Jèrriais speaker, cattle breeder, country music lover, and "mother of St. Saviour", Connétable Sadie Le Sueur-Rennard.
The Constable died suddenly on Friday 8 April.
Since then, friends, loved ones and colleagues have shared touching tributes online, flags have been flown half-mast, and islanders have been invited to share their wishes in a book of condolence at St. Saviour's Parish Hall.
The much-loved Constable's funeral is now due to take place this afternoon.
Friends and relatives will be gathering at St. Saviour's Parish Church at 14:00 today, and a private internment will follow.
The Parish Hall will be closed today as a mark of respect and to allow staff time to attend the service for Constable Le Sueur-Rennard.
Due to the number of attendees expected, islanders are being advised to avoid St. Saviour's Hill between 13:00 and 15:30.
The service can be watched online live HERE.
