A festival commemorating Jersey’s patron saint who saw off a Viking attack will be back next month for the first time since before the pandemic, promising food, music and crafts-a-plenty.
The Fête de St. Helier will be taking place across town on Saturday 16 and Sunday 17 July from 11:00.
Thousands of islanders are expected to turn out for the event involving craft stalls, fairground rides, live musicians and DJs, and the Norman Market.
Included in the celebrations will be the pilgrimage to Elizabeth Castle on Sunday, with walkers gathering at the Town Church at 13:00.

“This really is one of the highlights of the Parish’s events calendar… I look forward to seeing islanders young and old making the most of our town,” said Town Events Manager Connor Burgher.
