18 islanders, who either had or were suspected of having covid-19, have now died - putting Jersey's death toll above New Zealand and Singapore, among other nations.
The deaths are a rise of four from the previous day.
The statistics were released at 16:40 yesterday, and showed that 255 islanders are now officially confirmed to have the virus - 14 of whom are currently in hospital.
More females than males have received a positive test result, and the average age of those with the virus is 54.
Meanwhile, 151 people are deemed to have recovered, meaning that they no longer show any symptoms of the illness or have received a negative test result after contracting the virus.
The average age of islanders within that group is 49.
The statistics also show that there are 74 hospital beds currently occupied, with 123 still available.
