Free family fun from local charity

Local charity, Les Amis, is holding a free 'Family Fun Day' at Reg’s Garden this afternoon.

The event is being held as part of the charity’s campaign to raise £500,000 to build their new nursing and complex needs unit, Evelina Court.

Whilst entry to the event is free, donations are greatly appreciated to help the charity, which supports islanders with learning difficulties and other disabilities, to reach their fundraising goal.

The 'Family Fun Day' will start at 13:00 and activities will include live music and entertainment, games, face painting and a raffle plus catering by Jersey Prestige.

The day’s schedule is as follows:

• 13:00 – Open
• 13:30 – 14:00 – Les Amis/Zedra choir
• 14:00 – 15:00 - Performers Children’s Entertainers
• 15:00 – 15:45 – Royston South’s Magic and Balloon Show
• 15:45 – 16:00 – Fire juggler
• 16:00 – 16:30 – Higher/Lower game (prize)
• 16:30 – 17:30 - SwingStyle
• 17:30 – 18:30 - Terry Arthur swing/jazz singer
• 19:00 – Finish
