Islanders gathered together in Coronation Park yesterday to watch the live screening of the Coronation ceremony from Westminster Abbey.
Despite the weather, the rows of plastic white chairs were filled with young and old alike donning crowns and waving flags.
Those that turned up with picnics and children in tow heralded the modernised ceremony as a “time to celebrate” and the family zone went down better than a Coronation Quiche.

Meanwhile, Jersey's Bailiff and the Lieutenant Governor were the island's representatives at the Coronation Ceremony at Westminster Abbey.
