Express was recently given a sneak peak inside Ports of Jersey's two new holiday pods – created by a British company specialising in eco-friendly floating accommodation – which will start welcoming guests in the new year...
‘The Shells’, which are just over 10 metres long and 4.5 metres wide, arrived in Jersey last month.

Built by Waterpod, the pods can sleep up to four people with a bedroom, bathroom, a front-deck overlooking the marina, and a living room with sofa bed and kitchen.
Bookings, available from 2 January 2025, can now be made online via freedomholidays.com.
