Battle fever has reached the cows in West's Centre.
Coordinated by RampArts, a collective of local artists and florists secretly came together to transform the town landmark in honour of the 120th anniversary of Jersey's best-loved floral festival.
It all started when Eli Bonny, who spent more than two decades working as a florist in London and Jersey before branching off to create Precious Petals on her own, approached RampArts' founder Heather Brown.
“With a background in installation art, I was instantly excited when Ele approached me about a secret floral pop-up project. Her inspiration came from NYC flash flower designer Lewis Miller, whose goal is to create a positive, emotional response through flowers," Heather explained.

Having received the go-ahead from the Town Centre Manager, and some generous floral donations from Floralies, Market Flowers, New Lawns Jersey and Sprouts Farm, the transformation was completed in time for Battle Day this week.
"This is what an art collective is all about, a team of creatives coming together to make something beautiful in the world," Heather said.
