'GlastonJersey' - a festival claiming that it was the latest "to take over from the legendary Jersey Live" - has been called a "hoax" by one of the acts it said was a 'headliner'.
Little over six hours after the news broke of Jersey Live and Folklore being axed, ‘GlastonJersey’ emerged on Facebook, promising DJ Andy C as a headliner act on Saturday 2nd September.
But the DJ's agent told Express that the claims were untrue.
"Andy is not booked for this festival nor have we ever had any contact with the festival, Andy has made a statement on Twitter. We have also referred this to our legal department."
Just been asked about this GlastonJersey festival. I know nothing about it. It appears to be a HOAX!

The 'Festival organisers' - allegedly a group of former Hautlieu students - had teased Facebookers with promises of Jamiroquai and had claimed it was currently talent spotting in the US. They told Express that a media release would soon be published providing further information about the event.
However, these new revelations alongside images of the old logo - published by Express this morning - appear to only further prove the festival's inauthenticity.
