A 25-year-old man has pleaded guilty to causing "unnecessary suffering" to a cat.
Jean Luc Pinel admitted the offence to the domestic animal in the Magistrate’s Court yesterday.
He is due to be sentenced in the same court on 22 September.
No further details of the offence were given in court.
