Model and TV presenter Vogue Williams has revealed she doesn’t want to live in Jersey permanently despite splashing £7m on a new home with Made in Chelsea star Spencer Matthews.
The couple bought a property in Jersey last December but Vogue has admitted she still doesn’t want to live on the island full-time.
The £7m house, Domaine de la Valette, is located on La Rue de Sorel in St John and comprises two apartments, a cottage, swimming pool, garages and various outbuildings.
Earlier this month, Vogue flew to Jersey to visit their new property.
In a podcast episode recorded from Jersey, the TV presenter remarked that Spencer was trying to ‘push’ the island on her.

Spencer said: “We’re here in beloved Jersey, just so everybody knows. Vogue, my wife, what do you think of the house?”
Vogue responded: “The house is absolutely amazing. It’s really good. And do you know what I like most about the house? There is a lot of good light.”
Spencer said: “Do you get why I was so emphatically in love with the place before? When I saw it and I was here for five minutes, and I said ‘definitely going to buy this place’ when I was looking around it for the first time. Do you now get it?”
Vogue recalled saying “yeah we should get this place” but Spencer joked that he “remembered it slightly differently now”.

Vogue remarked: “You’re confusing things now. You’re trying to push Jersey on me, you’re trying to make me live here and I don’t.
“I don’t want to live here full time. I’m not living here full time.”
Spencer responded: “I’m not trying to push it on you, you’re pushing it on yourself, sister.”
Vogue added: “I do love Jersey, I have to say,” and recalled going to a local restaurant in St Ouen while visiting.

The couple have been married since June 2018 and have three children, Theodore (3), Gigi (1) and Otto, who was born in April.
They also have properties in London and in Vogue’s hometown of Howth in Dublin.
Spencer previously described their Jersey home as “another string to the bow”.
Expressing the “excitement in my heart”, he went on to imagine “croquet on the lawn and Theodore jumping in and out.”
Vogue told him on their podcast: “Jersey is more your thing”, to which Spencer responded that the home is “obviously for you as well darling, our family… I don’t see myself coming to Jersey on my own.”
“I hope you love it because it is incredibly beautiful and I think the kids will love it,” he added.
