A teenage pedestrian who was transferred to Southampton Hospital following a collision with a Jersey Post van last month has returned to the island and is recovering, according to the police.
The collision took place around 16:30 on Thursday 25 May on La Rue du Hucquet at the junction of Rue du Hucquet and Rue de la Vignette in St. Martin.
The Year 9 student was taken to hospital and later airlifted to Southampton Hospital.
Officers described the condition of the teenager – who was treated in the Intensive Care Unit – at the time as "stable but critical".
The investigation remains ongoing.
