The Rotary de la Manche's 23rd island walk, now sponsored by Collas Crill, is open for registration.
The walk which takes in the 48.1 miles of Jersey's beautiful coastline, is taking place on Saturday 21st June. It is one of the Island's biggest fundraisers with 18,229 walkers having trod the course since its inception in 1991, raising over £1.86m for charity.
The main walk starts at 3am from Elizabeth Terminal at the Harbour, but there is also a shorter option, the Lieutenant Governor's Challenge, which starts from le Braye at 1pm, and covers 12 miles, finishing at the Waterfront.
The full walk goes anticlockwise around the Island, with 13 checkpoints. Walkers complete the course in anything from 12 to 21 hours.
The Island Walk raises around £100,000 a year and has supported 124 individual Jersey charities such as: Jersey Hospice, Age Concern, RNLI, GOSH, the Women's Refuge and Headway. Every penny raised by walkers goes to charity.
