No card payments are being accepted at Co-op stores in Jersey due to an issue with the shop's card processing provider.
Channel Islands Co-operative CEO Mark Cox confirmed that the issue has impacted all stores in the island.
He added that the company is "awaiting an update on timelines" to rectify the matter.
"Unfortunately we have been notified that our card processing provider has experienced an outage which is preventing us from taking card payments at present," he said.
"We are awaiting an update on timelines for this to be rectified but hope it will be resolved quickly."
