Emergency services were called to La Corbiere this afternoon to rescue a casualty that had fallen up to 50ft onto rocks behind the lighthouse.
The fall was reported to have happened shortly before 14:30, when a call was received by the combined control centre.
Police, Ambulance, Coastguard and Fire and Rescue officials all attended the scene at St. Brelade's most southwesterly point to help paramedics rescue the islander, who was believed to have fallen a distance of between 10 and 15 metres (up to 50ft).
