Jagger joins Jersey cricket fans!

Monday 07 November 2016

It's an old cricketing truism that catches win matches and Jersey could certainly have done with some lessons in 'Sticky Fingers' from Mick Jagger.

The Rolling Stones frontman dropped in on Jersey's cricketers during their recent World Cricket League Division Four Finals in Los Angeles and was happy to be snapped with Islanders Holly Perchard and Sarah Watson.

Unfortunately Jagger couldn't give the Jersey boys any 'Satisfaction' as Peter Gough's side suffered relegation to Division Five despite heroically winning their final match against the USA on Saturday by a single run.

Jersey won two of their five group matches, whereas the USA were promoted after winning three, underlining, in Jagger's words.....'You can't always get what you want.'
