Holidaymakers have named Jersey ahead of Italy’s Capri in a list of the best islands in Europe.
The Island was ranked ninth based on reviews by users of travel website TripAdvisor.
Visitors praised Jersey for its spectacular scenery, stunning beaches and the amount the sun shines.
It was the only destination from the UK and Channel Islands to make it into the top 10.
The number one island in Europe was Santorini in Greece, followed by Spain’s Majorca and Madeira in Portugal.
A separate list for the whole world was topped by Hawaiian island Maui, followed by Santorini and Jamaica.
