A Jersey snapper captured the heart-warming moment Prince Louis burst into giggles after his Christening.
The photo by award-winner Matt Porteous, who is the Royals' official private photographer, was released by Kensington Palace this morning, following the baptism last Monday.
In it, a tiny Prince Louis wearing traditional Chirstening overalls can be seen cracking a contagious smile in the arms of his mother, Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton, in the garden of Clarence House.
It is one of very few photographs of the young heir, who was born on 23 April and is fifth in line to the throne, that have been released so far.
In a tweet this morning, Palace officials said that the Duchess and Duke, Prince William, “hope that everyone enjoys this lovely photograph of Prince Louis as much as they do.”
The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge have released an additional photograph taken following the christening of Prince Louis.
