Jersey's Scott Clayton and his partner Jonny O'Mara will play top seeds, Henri Kontinen and John Peers, in the doubles tournament tomorrow after their victory in the first round of Wimbledon.
The 23-year-old, ranked 253 in the world for doubles, was awarded a wildcard in the draw for the men's doubles and is the first Jerseyman to play in the Championships.
Scott, alongside his British partner Jonny, has advanced to the second round after his first-round opponents Adrian Mannarino and Paolo Lorenzi retired during the second set.
Speaking to BBC Sport, Scott said: "We wouldn't have had this opportunity without the wildcard, which we're really thankful for. We're happy that we've used it well to get ourselves into the second round."
