Jewellery and watches were snatched from a St. Helier home yesterday after its window was smashed with a paving stone.
Police said the burglary took place between 14:30 and 17:25 yesterday in Old St. John’s Road.
They said the house involved, which backs onto the Little Sisters of the Poor building, had its window smashed with a paving slab before “a quantity of jewellery and some wrist watches” were taken from the premises.
