Tickets to see Michael McIntyre sold out within hours yesterday, but now there's a chance to see another famous funny man.

The comedian and star of The Last Leg is back on stage and bringing his latest stand-up tour to Jersey.

Josh Widdicombe is returning to the comedy circuit and will be appearing at the Jersey Opera House for one night only on Saturday 26 September with his show What Do I Do Now.

The comic, renowned for his unkempt curly hair, is a regular on BBC2’s Mock the Week, QI, BBC1’s Live at the Apollo and Have I Got News for You.

His Channel 4 show The Last Leg, which he co-hosts with Adam Hills and Alex Brooker has been nominated for both a British Comedy Award and a Broadcast Award and won at the Royal Television Society Awards.

He is now the host of BBC5Live’s sport show Fighting Talk and The Josh Widdicombe Show on Xfm and will be starring in his own sitcom Josh which he has written and goes on air on BBC3 in the autumn.

Tickets cost £16.50 and have already gone on sale to Opera House members. They go on sale to everybody else next Friday at 9am and you can pick them up from the Opera House box office (01534 511115).
