We were proud to host the first Learning Disability Music Gig in the Summer and welcomed a band from Brighton, Beat Express. The musicians were a great showcase of what you can achieve regardless of your ability or disability.
Jersey Mencap run a year-round calendar of activities which include films, yoga, party nights and boat trips – you can see more of our achievements on our social media pages.
We are passionate about people with a learning disability deserving a full and inclusive social life and we see so many benefits of this. We would like to thank all our members who make the club such fun – with activities fully subscribed, we know the club is much needed and valued.

We thank all our supporters and donors who know the importance of our members having meaningful activities and structure to the week as well as the opportunity to be part of a vibrant, fun and buzzing art project.
The Jersey Mencap Gardening team have had a great year with a variety of crops, sown, nurtured and harvested at our allotment. New friendships have been formed and we’ve shared our growing successes along the way.
Being outside, learning about horticulture and reaping the benefits of ‘home-grown’ veg has seen this project go from strength to strength.

Our fundraising allows many of the Jersey Mencap activities to be free or greatly subsidised. This gets more challenging with every year that passes.
