After much anticipation, hundreds of students will receive their A-level results today, with many relying on them to get their university places confirmed.
Last year, the overall pass rate for Jersey’s A-level results was 99.5% which was up on both 2014 and 2015 as well as being above England’s 98.1% pass rate.
In 2016, a total of 6.8% of Jersey students passed with an A* grade, while a further 18% got an A grade.
Jersey’s Education Department is reminding students that, if you don’t get the results you need, they are on-hand to help.
Schools, Highlands College, Advance to Work and Careers Jersey will be available to provide support for those looking to go through clearing, seeking alternative courses or universities, or who are considering employment rather than higher education.
